UK Free Shipping
Free UK shipping: this is via Royal Mail or other suitable couriers, depending on parcel weight and destination. Typical delivery time is 4-6 working days (excluding weekends). Please note this is an estimate and depends on the efficiency and operation of the courier or postal service, who do not guarantee their delivery times.
Dispatch may take place on the same day or the following working day, depending on when the order is received.
Please keep an eye open for delivery notifications from Royal Mail, Evri or Yodel. If you won’t be in at the estimated delivery time, I recommend you tell the courier of a safe place to leave the parcel, an alternative address or change delivery date via the tracking link you receive. Couriers should reattempt delivery if there is no secure place to leave you parcel.
If your address is not easy to locate, e.g. a rural area or no street number, please provide a what3words location to pass on to the courier.
UK Paid shipping
I offer Royal Mail 48 hour (working day) delivery service for an additional charge. lhe delivery times are stated by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed. From past experience, the 48hr delivery hits their target more so than the 24hr delivery so I no longer offer the 24hr delivery, unless specifically requested.
I offer Royal Mail guaranteed by 1pm next day delivery if requested. This excludes delivery on Saturday and Sunday and assumes orders are placed early enough (by noon) for the parcel to be taken to the post office.
I offer DPD next day delivery. This is not gauranteed. It gives the option of diverting parcels to a DPD pickup point, a safe place or to change the delvery date.
Please be aware that depending on the time of the order, actual dispatch may take place on the same day or the following working day (Mon-Fri).
International shipping
For customers in the USA:I can ship parcels to the USA Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means the price I quote includes any relevant tariffs. Please contact me on contact@alepposoap.uk or text or WhatsApp BEFORE placing an order so I can provide an accurate quote.
For other international customers: Please contact me on contact@alepposoap.uk or text or WhatsApp BEFORE placing an order so I can calculate shipping. There are many options depending on weight and destination. You can view Royal Mail International shipping rates, for 1 bar of Aleppo soap (0.3kg) up to 5 bars of soap (1.3kg). If you tell me how many bars you’d like I can work out the most inexpensive option for shipping. Depending on the destination, time of year and delivery service, typical delivery times are between 2 and 6 weeks.
To remain within the 2kg weight limit, I can only post a maximum of 8 bars of Aleppo soap (under 2kg) as part of a single parcel. I can post a larger quantity but cost of shipping goes up. Other items weigh differently so I need to calculate the best shipping rate for the order. The default post rate I quote on my website does not accurately reflect postage costs.
Please note that the customer is responsible for any local taxes or import duties. These vary from country to country. If in doubt, check with your local tax authorities.
